The latest rumour from serial leaker @evleaks is that the Mini version of the upcoming HTC One followup – codenamed the M8 – will feature hardware that could be seen as a very minor spec bump from the current model.
The upgraded Mini will see only minor updates from the current HTC One Mini which already features a Quad-Core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. With upgrades mainly going to the front and rear camera and an addition of microSD card slot for expandable storage and AC WiFi.

Software wise, the new Mini will come with Android 4.4.2/Sense 6.0 and whatever features that HTC decides to bake in. The big news as seen in previous leaks is that HTC appears to be going for on-screen soft buttons in their new line of phones.
There’s not a huge amount here but if HTC is going to refine their already critically acclaimed hardware design and add and refine software and features it could be a winning way to go. Also, isn’t it about time we saw another advertisement from their $12 Million Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr?
Looking forward to an updated HTC One Mini update?
HTC are my favourite phone maker. But ultrapixel stopped me from upgrading, and now still only 1GB Ram in the mini, has me seriously considering the xperia Z1 Compact
so very unlike the mini Z1 where specs are still topnotch!
What’s an MTC?
An MTC is what you get when you do a post while sitting in the passenger seat of a moving car.
