The rumoured Galaxy S5 Prime, model # SM-G906 is headed to Korea, according to EvLeaks. The handset, which is rumoured to be launching in June is said to improve on the recently launched Galaxy S5 hardware by introducing a higher resolution screen.
The Galaxy S5 Prime, will launch in Black, White, Gold, Blue, and Sweet Pink – similar to what has launched in South Korea with the existing Galaxy S5. The handset is rumoured to launch with a QHD 2560×1440 resolution screen which improves on the FullHD 1080P on the Galaxy S5. Also rumoured for the phone is a metallic body, with an Octa-core Exynos 5430 processor running the BIG.little ARM architecture with four 2.1GHz Cortex-A15 cores paired four with lower power 1.5GHz Cortex-A7 cores.
Exactly when the reported handset will launch is anyone’s guess, but with a looming LG G3 launch, Samsung surely won’t want to be left stuck behind their fellow countrymen in the resolution race on smartphones.
