Google I/O is on again, this time running over two days – 25-26th of June – as usual at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco. This morning the Google Developers team has released their schedule of events and this year they’re focusing on ‘design, develop and distribute’.
The schedule is available over on the Google I/O website, and starts off with probably the most important event – the Keynote address. The Keynote will run from 9am-11am on the 25th of June(2am-4am 26th of June AEST). Once the Keynote is over, it’s onto the developer sessions which this year will feature a couple of new entrants – Wearables and Chromecast.
There’s the usual array of Android, Chrome, and more, with Glassware sessions and general API talk and more. The Google IO Android App has yet to be updated, but given the arrival of the schedule of events, this will surely follow soon and it should show up any sessions you book in for.
If you were unfortunately unable to obtain a ticket for Google I/O, Google wants you to carry on the fun at one of the I/O Extended events that will be happening around the world. The catch? You have to set them up yourself, but Google has created a guide on how to host one over at their IO Extended site
Clear your schedules, if even to watch just the I/O Keynote, but if you don’t have time, look out for the Ausdroid coverage which we’ll be putting up as soon as the I/O Keynote is over.
