The LG G3 has only just been announced, and is still not expected to reach our shores (officially) till August, but it seems that a ‘mini’ version of LG’s latest flagship is already in the works, and will be launched as the LG-D722.
The phone comes with specs that we have come to expect of a ‘mini’ version of a flagship. The G3 Mini looks to include a 4.5″ Screen, 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor, 8GB of internal storage, 5MP Camera and 2100mAh battery. GforGames notes that the phone will be launched in Europe with the LGD722 model, but an LGD728 model will be heading to China Mobile.
LG obviously have not announced anything to do with the LG G3 Mini, and with the launch of the flagship rolling out globally, they probably won’t be announcing anything soon, so as to not take focus away from their big gun. We asked LG Australia about any plans for an LG G3 Mini and we did receive a rather predictable ‘No Comment’, so we guess it’s a matter of stay tuned.
Does an LG G3 Mini with those specs excite you?
Terrible LG, please refer to Sony on how to make mini versions of flagship phones.
