Motorola
If a yearly cycle for models is the way that Motorola is playing it, then the Moto X+1 is due for an announcement later this month. If Motorola is to keep to that schedule then a near final version of Motorola’s new flagship phone is definitely ready for launch, and it seems someone may have just benchmarked it on Geekbench.

The entry showed up with the model # XT1097 and garnered a Geekbench score of 998 (Single Core) and 2860 (Multi-Core). The hardware shown off in the result shows a device with a 2.46 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974 processor and 2GB of RAM.

Moto X+1 Geekbench

There’s not much more information included with the Geekbench results, but previously we’ve seen rumours that the Moto X+1 will come with a 5.2″ Full HD (1920×1080) screen, 32GB on-board storage with micro SD (up to 128GB), 12MP rear camera, 2,900mAh and of course the latest version of Android (4.4.4 at this stage).

No press invites for an event have been issued, but the rumour that Motorola will launch the Moto X+1 with the Moto 360 Android Wear watch have been circulating. Perhaps one device is waiting for the other to be finalised, hopefully we don’t .
