HTC has a big launch planned in China next week, the subject of the launch according to both the invite, and some promo pics that have surfaced overnight is the HTC One M9+.
The promo materials have shown up on Chinese site MyDrivers, there’s three pictures which have leaked with the very Samsung-like home button below the screen showing in one of the pictures. The physical home key, which is apparently in addition to the normal soft-keys of Android 5.0, will house a fingerprint scanner according to rumour.
The other pictures focus on the newly improved Blinkfeed widget, as well as the textured power button which was moved to the side of the HTC One M9, making it easier to reach for one-handed operation.
These aren’t the only marketing renders to have shown up however, with HTC leaker @upleaks also showing off two press renders in a tweet last night.

The phone is looking pretty good and will apparently have some decent specs under the hood, with an Octa-Core 64-bit Mediatek processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. That screen will be 5.2″ with QHD resolution making for a slightly larger model than the smaller HTC One M9. Just like the One M9, the One M9+ will come with the HTC Sense Seven software update.
The launch is set for April 8th in Beijing, so we’ll find out all about what HTC has in-store very soon.
