This is actually unbelievable to me and I must admit to being somewhat hugely amused when I read this the first time, I thought it was a comedy article originally in the style of The Onion but from all reports its actually real.
Two room mates, discussing the strong points of their preferred mobile operating system over a “few” beverages of an evening have ended up stabbing each other as the debate got heated. One had a bottle broken on his head by the other followed by the pair stabbing each other with broken bottle.
The story sent to me by an iOS loving mate; was reported by Ktul, a news station in America and much like other stories of this nature in the past you can see that the news readers are trying desperately to contain their amazement at the situation.
While I am trying to refrain from too much comment on the debate, its quite clear which side of the Mobile OS system my allegiance lies and the weight of numbers is now those of us flying the Android flag.
Should we be amused, disgusted or just pity these two individuals so passionate about their mobile OS they’re prepared to injure others who disagree?
I pity the fool who fights for iOS 😛
Android for me – but I’m certainly not going to fight about it! Talk about getting things out of proportion.
Android is my primary go-to OS, but any ‘nerd’ can admit there’s strengths and weaknesses to any OS.
Nobody can deny iOS for how efficient it is. Imagine if Android could run like butter on (very) dated hardware…
We can dream.
iOS doesn’t run well on old hardwear either.
Ned we say any more…
I usually just grab some popcorn and see Android and IOS fanboys fight each other, but this is another level
Unapologetically stabbed.
“While I am trying to refrain from too much comment on the debate, its quite clear which side of the Mobile OS system my allegiance lies”
What if you’re like me and like both operating systems for their inherent strengths and weaknesses? (*smashes bottle over own head in fit of rage…).
Merica!
Yep. They’d go to battle against each other over a choice of breakfast cereals.
