Huawei Australia and the Australian Technology Network of Universities (ATN) announced the students who have been selected to participate in Huawei’s global undergraduate program: Seeds for the Future.
The Seeds of the Future program gives selected students from ATN member universities (RMIT, UTS, Curtin, UniSA, QUT) the opportunity to interact with Huawei staff at their headquarters in Shenzhen China where they can learn about emerging technologies as well as products and solutions. As part of the tour, they visit the HQ, R&D facilities and will also travel to Beijing to spend a week at the Beijing Language and Cultural University.
Students chosen ranked within the top 5% in their Tertiary Rankings, as well as displaying interest in the ICT industry and a ‘willingness to share their knowledge and experience with others. The students chosen, are:

Seeds for the Future is now in its third year in Australia and is growing in momentum as Huawei’s global flagship student engagement program. The program is a valuable investment in cultivating talent and introduces students to world-class technologies that will become the future engine in our ICT ecosystem.
The ATN have enabled Huawei Australia to identify Australia’s ICT leaders of tomorrow. This program goes a long way to close the knowledge gap which exists between what is learnt in the classroom and the skills necessary in the real world.
The Seeds of the Future program will extend over the next three years, with 30 students from the ATN member network including those students from RMIT, UTS, Curtin, UniSA, and QUT getting the opportunity to participate in the program.
