We’ve less than a month till the OnePlus 2 is announced at a global, virtual event so we’re pretty certain that hardware design is finalised by now. With that, it’s pretty hard to stop a phone from leaking and it’s possible it may have leaked on Chinese social media site Weibo.
The image isn’t an actual photo, rather it seems like it is, or was. As you can see it appears to be a photo of the phone with some sort of ‘drawing’ or ‘sketch’ feature applied.
The phone seems to show a USB-C connector at the bottom which OnePlus recently announced, so that at least is in line with the current state of affairs. From there though, anything is possible.
We’ll be seeing more on the phone in the coming month, but we should see something similar to the OnePlus One, but with refined features and a rumoured 5.5″ screen with a metal chassis. Until July 27th though, anything goes.
Hard to tell anything really from this picture. A micro USB port and a USB-C port all look the same with this ‘filter’ applied.
Looks like the OnePlus One to me :/
Well, okay. It looks like a phone.
