OnePlus 2 will be announcing their next flagship later this month. On July 27th, OnePlus are inviting the world to see what they’ve got up their sleeve for their so-called ‘follow-up album’. With that date looming, there’s sure to be finished, or close to finished product being used and the leaks are starting to appear.
We say leaks, but well, we know that OnePlus has a minimalist approach to marketing so well-timed ‘leaks’ are definitely what we’ve got at the moment. Firstly, Droid-life has spotted three variants of what they believe is the OnePlus 2 going through the certification process at the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (now removed). The three variants – A2001, A2003, and A2005 – are rumoured to differ in storage (32GB, 64GB and 128GB maybe?).
The second piece of information we have is a link to GeekBench which shows off benchmarks from a phone purportedly the OnePlus 2, using one of the model #s we just saw at the Bluetooth SIG :A2003.
As you can see, the processor matches the announced Snapdragon 810, and if those specs are right, we can expect an impressive 4GB of RAM as well as Android 5.1.1 running on it.
Not long now till the launch and OnePlus should have another announcement for us shortly – probably announcing the 4GB of RAM. We’ll soon find out.
Love it that ~3700mb equals in 4GB! In my days, 3700mb equals 3.7GB of ram, not 4GB! 4096mb is 4GB people!!! 🙂
Hopefully this gets shipping to Australia this time.
Not looking likely from my chat with Carl.
boo!!!
Seems so however things “hopefully” might change.
Sourcing it looks to be the best possible way right now.
