Rumoured to launch next month, the Motorola Moto G 2015 is turning out to be a bit of a higher end offering than previous models. The latest leak comes from one of the best, with Evan Blass leaking a few customised Moto Maker’ised Moto G 2015 handsets.
The leak contains some interesting choices, but that blue on red, purple on black and gold on burgundy combo looks the business.

As far as hardware for the Moto G 2015, rumours say we’re looking at a 5″ display on the handset, with a 720P HD resolution and a Qualcomm processor (either 615 or 410) with 1GB of RAM running the show. Rumours of a pretty decent camera bump to 13MP (with 5MP FF camera) abound and as usual, Motorola will deliver the handset with a minimal 8GB of on-board storage but include a microSD card slot.
Whether we see the Moto Maker service down under is something we want to believe. There’s been rumours of a launch of the service down under, but we’re waiting for an official announcement from Motorola Australia to confirm.
We hope to find out more about the Moto G 2015 in the next month, and hope to see the handset arrive on our shores in a timely manner.
Wonder if Moto will do the RightThing and let us have access to MotoMaker, THIS time.
1Gb ram again? Why?
It’s a mid-range phone. It’s not supposed to have cutting-edge specs.
1gb ram is fine for the Moto G.
Is it? I owned a 2014 Moto G and the 1gb ram was the weakest link.
In my experience, to have multiple browser tabs open and switch between them without each tab “re-drawing”, 2GB of RAM is a must.
