The 2015 Google Doodle competition for schools and students across Australia announced in June is heading to its conclusion with the competition entries now up for your virtual perusal.
The theme of this years Google Doodle is ‘If I could travel back in time I would…’ and from a field consisting of over 26,000 students, 100 Googler volunteers have narrow down the field to 320 State and Territory Finalists. There’s a special mention for an entry from Mykelti Kotzur from Wodonga Middle Years College in VIC who sent in an entry titled ‘Feudal Japan’.
There’s a heap of entries to choose from and there’s prizes including laptops, tablets and $10K worth of tech for the winning students or schools with winners being announced in each age group. The overall winner though will see their Google Doodle placed on the Google Australia homepage for the day.
