HTC’s upcoming 2016 flagship — known by the codename ‘Perfume’ — is rumoured to be launching in March, but before the official announcement, Evan Blass has managed to snag a live shot of the phone.
The phone pictured has a newer design than what we’ve seen previously on the One MX series, with the almost familiar ‘black bar’ with the HTC logo beneath the screen no longer present – a design decision many HTC fans will rejoice over. The physical home button has taken the place of the black bar, and it’s very likely to include the fingerprint sensor seen previously on the HTC One M9+, which saw only limited availability.

As you can see, HTC will be offering the phone in gold at least, though there’s sure to be other colour options at launch.
In terms of specs, the HTC One M10 will be a hard device to beat with a rumoured 5.1″ QHD display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 32GB storage with microSD card slot and an Ultra-Pixel camera on the rear bumped up to a higher end sensor than previous iterations. The camera will also have Optical Image Stabilisation.
HTC has not yet announced a press event for Mobile World Congress, making a March announcement of the phone more likely. With a separate announcement HTC could gain more mind space than announcing their new flagship alongside Samsung and LG at MWC, but we’ll have to wait for invites to head out before we know more.
Its the UltraPixel camera that worries me.
“As you can see, HTC will be offering the phone in gold at least, ” lol….even M9 has the gold rim doesn’t mean its gold color…. ????
If you can’t beat em, copy em I guess
