Google announced earlier this week that they were setting up a giant claw machine at the film, interactive media, and music festival South By Southwest (SXSW) to promote the Google Store which has just hit its first birthday. The claw machine can apparently be operated remotely by Twitter and Google has just advised how you can have a go.
Google has shared a picture of the Google Claw machine, which is set up at the Google Fibre booth at SXSW and is filled with prizes available from the Google Store like Chromecasts, Nexus devices and Android Wear.
We’re still not sure whether the claw machine prizes can be won by people outside the US as there doesn’t seem to be any terms and conditions attached to any of their promotions.
With nothing saying we can’t have a go, it’s over to you to try your luck. The instructions were tweeted by Google and all you appear to need to do is tweet the right arrow emoji, then tune into their Periscope live streams at 7:30pm CST (12:30pm AEDT)each day.

We’ll certainly be having a go, and if we win, we’ll find out soon enough if it’s US-only.
