Earlier this week, Google teased the launch of a new Spotlight Story ‘On Ice’, and advised that a previous title, Help, a five-minute short from Fast and Furious 6 director Justin Lin would be coming to YouTube. Well, the movie is now available.
Help is a fast paced action movie, directed by Justin Lin, the story, about an alien attack in Los Angeles after a meteor shower, is told in 360-degrees. The story follows a young woman scrambling to escape, with explosions all around, a subway car being torn apart and a dramatic conclusion taking place in the famous Los Angeles river.
The story is now available for viewing on mobile devices with the YouTube mobile app.
The best viewing is obviously going to be using your phone with Google Cardboard, but you can just watch with your phone if you don’t have a viewer. Check it out and see what you think.
