LG have announced the Freestyler, an all in one sound system that pumps an eardrum bursting 600W RMS through dual 8″ woofers and intended to be the life of your parties.
The new device replaces a number of the functions that users would be familiar with in the Music Flow range of speakers that have been quietly discontinued by LG. The connectivity of the Freestyler includes Bluetooth streaming via the LG Music Flow app (which includes party link allowing up to 3 people to control the tunes), USB Input, FM Radio, RCA line in and for those long nights of group entertainment theres also dual Mic inputs for when alcohol brings for the singers within and Karaoke ensues.
If Karaoke is not your thing but you fancy yourself as mix-master then the Freestyler has you covered too with DJ functionality including some stunning lighting effects or you can simply use the Freestyler as a speaker system for your TV or gaming rig, the choice is yours. For those of you who have taken a moment to check out the specs on the LG Website, you’ll probably notice the same function missing that I did – GoogleCast.
Initial impressions are big, really big and the Freestyler is currently in its early launch phase in Australia. We already have one in the test lab at Ausdroid and we’ll have some more comprehensive thoughts on it very soon.
What would you like to see by way of additional functions on the Freestyler to make it a must buy for your house?
