Google has released the latest distribution numbers for Android, at least for those devices accessing the Google Play Store and it looks like Nougat is on the rise.
The rise is far from numbers that should be exciting with Nougat versions spanning 7.0 and 7.1 adding up to a grand total of 1.2% of the total Android devices out there. Kit Kat and Lollipop have both shown the largest signs of market share decline with drops for both versions. Marshmallow continues to grow, but Nougat seems to have picked up the lions share of the numbers.
