Thousands of happy developers and Google fans had their dreams come true yesterday by winning the Google I/O 2017 lottery. If you didn’t win, you can still get to Google I/O this year with the Google I/O 2017 Experiments Challenge.
It’s easy to do, at least if you’re into developing things. All you have to do is submit your Android, Chrome, or AI experiment for the chance to win. Three winners – one for each category – will win a trip to Google I/O 2017 which includes airfare, lodging, transportation and expenses. Additionally three runners-up will win Pixel phones and Daydream View headsets.
The competition is open until April 13 so get your entries in before then for the chance to win. Winners will be notified by email from the 1st of May, you’ll have 3 days to respond before another winner is chosen.
Last year, Google showcased experiments at I/O and there was a bunch of cool experiments all round Shoreline Amphitheatre. We’ll be there to check them out again this year.
