HTC has today announced that they’re launching the metal bodied One X10 in Australia at Vodafone on contract, or outright from JB HiFi.
The phone, which had a quiet launch in Russia last month is described by HTC as the ‘perfect blend of style, innovation and design’. The One X10 is focused on features and it’s got them in spades, with a 4,000mAh battery that will give you up to 2 days battery life. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear for security and camera wise it’s got a decent shooter on both the front and rear.
The phone has some decent internals, with a Mediatek Helios P10 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage that’s bolstered by a microSD card slot with support for cards up to 2TB in size. Other specs include:

Thomas Dexmier, HTC Australia and New Zealand Head of Sales and Marketing said of the One X10
Following on from the HTC One X9, its highly successful predecessor, every aspect of the HTC One X10 is premium, except the price. Not only does it look sleek & stylish, it delivers on performance & convenience at a price that’s among the best value in the market today.” said “The handset has been carefully crafted to achieve the perfect balance between an elegant and rich design that will satisfy the style needs of our consumers, providing top of the range performance at a mid-range price point.
With a great design with a premium metal body and higher end internal specs the HTC One X10 is pretty well priced, with Vodafone offering the phone for $5 a month on a Vodafone Red $40 plan on a 24 Month contract when it launches on May 17th. If you don’t want the One X10 on contract, you can purchase it outright in black from JB Hifi for $549 from May 18th.
Seriously HTC? A Helio P10 in a mid ranger heading in to mid 2017…
As above, a Snapdragon 625 or even a 653 would have made it an awesome phone for the price.
Ahhhh geez if it wasn’t for the processor. Why of why couldn’t it have been a Snapdragon 625.
