Instagram Live Video is getting an interesting new feature, with the team trialling the ability to add a second person to your live video stream on the fly.
At this stage it’s just adding in a second user, but you can also change those users as you please simply dropping and adding users viewing your feed as you choose.
The feature is currently in testing with a small amount of users at this stage, but those users can add a second user who is watching the stream. Users added can still comment and like the video as it’s broadcasting, and you can drop users and re-add more users as you choose.
Once it goes live, a new icon will appear in the bottom right of the live video window, once you tap that new icon, you can choose which users from those viewing tot add to your broadcast. The video will split into two with you and your friend in the video window.
Instagram has said that this new feature will be rolling out globally over the next few months, so look for it in a future update.
