After introducing the new Galaxy Note 8 last week, Samsung will unveil some new goodies at their IFA press conference on Friday morning.
Samsung has invited press to attend the event where they will show you ‘your new normal’. The event will kick off at 6pm CET on August 30 at Berlin’s Tempodrom arena, that’s about 2am AEST on the 31st of August for those early birds here at home.
What will be shown off at the event includes, Samsung says ‘products designed to seamlessly integrate into everyday life and streamline more facets of our evolving, increasingly connected lifestyles’.
The invite attached has an animated GIF which shows that wearables won’t be the only thing there, and according to DJ Koh, president of Samsung’s mobile division, we’ll be seeing new wearables – or as he put it the ‘next generation of the Gear S series of smartwatches’ which will likely include the Gear Fit 2 Pro and Gear Sport.
We’ll be tuning in, and we’ll be getting all the latest information on Australian availability for whatever they announce as soon as it’s out.
Fingers crossed they bring the smartthings hub here in Australia.
