After being announced at Basselworld earlier this year, Fashion label Diesel has announced their hotly anticipated ON Smartwatch will be available in Australia this month from $540.
The watch is one of the best looking (in our opinion) announced this year with a massive, fully round display that can display either Diesel’s seven custom customisable dials or one of the hundreds available in Google Play. Diesel has created effects for the custom dials with options for ‘a cracked screen when a private notification is received and unique weather filters that change with the climate’.
The Diesel On smartwatch comes with a 48mm case, which will be available in three different styles which will also include options for a choice of eight bands in various styles which include leather, silicone, denim and canvas with novelty stitching and hardware details.

We worked on interpreting the smartwatch world with a Diesel attitude, adding technology to the classic watch to create a new, digital accessory. The idea is to have many different watches in one to match the mood of every moment of the day—always with an ironic touch.
The watch is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and has Bluetooth connectivity and IP67 water resistance.
The Diesel On builds on Diesel’s previous line of hybrid smartwatches, using Android Wear 2.0 to expand the functionality of their watches but including Diesel’s signature style of design. The watch has tracking options to measure fitness including tracking calories, pace, distance and additional exercises based on settings.
Diesel has said that the watches will be available in ‘September 2017’. The Diesel On will arrive in the US on September 25th, and the UK on October 14th, so you might want to start checking the Diesel Australia website.

That looks fantastic. I’m still on my old Moto because I haven’t seen another watch I prefer the look of (or can afford in some cases!). This one looks like it might fit the bill.
