HTC isn’t resting on their laurels ahead of their November 2nd event, taking to social media to tease what appears to be the U11 Plus.
The teaser image doesn’t give too much away, showing a phone with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor mounted below a single camera sensor with a flash module to the side. The phone in the render has a sheen similar to that with the liquid glass look of the HTC U series phones including the flagship U11 which launched earlier this year. Along with the render is the tag ‘You’ll see it all on 11.02.2017.’ telling us what to expect:

The HTC U11+ will include a Snapdragon 835 SoC, with two memory/storage configurations: 4/64GB & 6/128GB, with both including a microSD card slot. The phone will be dominated by a 6″ WQHD+ resolution LCD display and that rear-mounted camera will be a 12MP sensor behind an f/1.7 aperture lens, while the front mounted camera will be 8MP. The phone will include a 3,930mAh battery which supports QuickCharge 3.0. The U11 Plus will include Edge Sense (that awesome squeezable frame) and BoomSound as well as being IP68 water and dust resistant.
The November 2nd event is expected to be the launch of the HTC U11 Plus as well as the Android One packing HTC U11 Life, though Evan Blass (@evleaks) isn’t convinced tweeting that he believes the event is only for the U11 Life:

The U11 Life is HTC’s first Android One handset which will be come with a Snapdragon 630 SoC and again come in two memory/storage options: 3GB/32GB or 4GB/64GB. The U11 Life will come in a smaller footprint with a 5.2″ 1080p resolution display. The U11 Life will have 16MP camera sensors on both the front and rear of the phone, with a 2,600mAh battery powering it. As with the U11 Plus, the phone will include Edge Sense which could possibly be tied to Google Assistant like the new Pixel 2 handsets.
We’re only a week out from the launch, so we’ll see exactly what’s in store very soon.
Fingers crossed that coil on the back of the phone in the teaser is qi wireless charging, and it’s in the htc u11 life android one phone.
Itll be my first HTC phone and im excited!
Hopefully EB is wrong and they announce both, and release it here asap.
