The Google Assistant powered TicHome Mini smart speaker from Mobvoi is heading to Australia this month, and Jaycar is listing the speaker in their ‘Very Techy Xmas’ catalogue for a special introductory price of $159.
The speaker was listed on their website for $179, but will sell for $159 when it goes on-sale as part of their catalogue starting November 29th. The speaker is available from Jaycar in only two colours: Black and White, but if you want a slightly expanded colour range you can choose from four colours if you purchase from Mobvoi directly.
The Mobvoi TicHome Mini was one of the first Google Assistant powered speakers announced by Google, but it’s fast becoming one of many. In my review I found it to be a perfectly able speaker with both Chromecast and Bluetooth connectivity. It’s the perfect companion for the kitchen or bathroom with IPX6 water resistance. Has anyone that preordered one of these received theirs yet? I ordered 1 1/2 months ago and not one shipping update since.
