At Google I/O back in May, Google announced the Actions on Google Developer Challenge, a challenge to developers to come up with ‘helpful, entertaining apps for the Assistant’. Today, Google has announced the winners.
There are three overall winners, in first, second and third place as well as winners in 13 other categories. There were thousands of entries, all of which have enriched the number of apps available for the Google Assistant. The winner of the challenge won a trip to Google HQ in Mountain View, CA, a trip to Google I/O 2018, and $10,000 in cash, not bad. The second and third prize winners won a Google Home each as well as $7,500 and $5,000 respectively. So who won?
