The launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi has gotten a lot of people excited, and to build on that excitement Samsung has announced a new Virtual Reality experience in partnership with Disney based on Star Wars, coming to a Samsung Experience Store near you.
The VR experience is called Droid Repair Bay, and requires a Gear VR headset with Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+, and Note8 smartphone to bring you into the Star Wars world.
You’ll repair BB-8, as well as other BB-class droids as your ship comes under fire from the likes of Kylo Ren and other enemies from the First Order. The experience will let you use the controller with the Gear VR to fix up droids and get them back into the fight, and it looks like a heck of a lot of fun:
You can download the Droid Repair Bay experience from the Oculus store for free if you have the compatible equipment. Or you can check it out at these Samsung Stores near you:
George St | Highpoint | Melbourne Central | Chatswood | Parramatta |
Liverpool | Southland | Doncaster | Fountain Gate | Garden City |
Carindale | Miranda | Chermside | Penrith | Robina |
Marion | Carousel | Bondi | Chadstone | Northland |
Joondalup | Werribee | Macquarie | Warringah | Tea Tree |
The Samsung Droid Repair Bay experience can be checked out at any of these stores until February 1st next year. Looks like a good option to take the kids to once school is out for the year.
