At a modest asking price of just $53, there are definitely going to be a few Google Home Minis unwrapped this Christmas. They look good on a bench, but with a 3D-printed bracket you could have this bad boy up on the wall and out of the way.
There’s a bunch of 3D-printed brackets available, some wall mountable with double-sided tape or a screw or you can even find some that hang off that round wall plug with the cable wrapped around the mount and hidden behind.
For anyone with a 3D Printer you can download a model from places like Thingiverse or you can have one printed and delivered from Shapeways. My choice though – being the lazy so and so I am – is through Etsy which has a bunch of sellers that will ship you a mount of your choice fairly reasonably priced.
If you’re looking for ‘out there’ mounts for Home Mini, there is a project that mounts a Home Mini (or an Amazon Echo Dot) in an empty light socket. Called Dock Socket you can buy one from their website docksocket.com. It takes over an entire light socket, so it’ll be dark in that area if you use it, but some people seem to like it.

All these mounts aside, the Home Mini is still fairly unobtrusive and in Chalk or Charcoal they blend into the background pretty nicely anyway.
