CES 2018 is all about not just consumer electronics but their integration with the various digital assistants. Sony have joined in the fun today with the announcement of some new TVs and a soundbar.
Sony has today taken to the CES 2018 stage in Las Vegas to announce three new 4K HDR television series’ — the A8F OLED, the X85F LCD and the X9000F LCD series’. Both TV line-ups support Dolby Vision and will run Android TV with a fully functional Google Assistant (and obviously Chromecast abilities).
The A8F BRAVIA OLED line uses Sony’s 4K HDR picture processor-X1™ Extreme, and the Acoustic Surface technology to deliver an immersive experience. The A8F will be available in 55 and 65 inch sizes.
The X9000F LCD line comes equipped with Sony’s X1 Extreme processor and will be available in 75, 65 and 55 inches. The X9000F is designed to match the new Sony Soundbar, the HT-X9000F.
The X85F LCD line-up is the is the baby sibling of the X9000F series but still comes with a 4K HDR display and is powered by Android TV and includes all the goodies that brings with it.
With pricing and availability in Australia yet to be confirmed we expect to see these all land here in the coming months. If you are in the market for a new TV I suggest you give these a good look.
