Motorola’s E-Series is a hot item filling the gap between their entry level C-Series phones and super mid-range G series phones. A render of the latest model, the E5 has shown up online showing some changes in design.
The biggest change is the move to a rear fingerprint sensor, eschewing the front mounted one from the E4. The fingerprint sensor on the rear isn’t just blank though with Motorola taking advantage of the free space and splashing their famous batwing logo into the sensor.
According to MySmartPrice who obtained the leaked render, the Moto E4 will also include a front-facing LED Flash. Motorola won’t be moving the Moto E-Series to USB-C connectors any time soon either, with the E5 reportedly sticking with microUSB. The phone will also reportedly be powered by a Mediatek processor.
The launch date for the phone is being pegged as April 3rd based on the clock widget displayed on the screen in the render. It’s not far away, so we’ll know soon enough.
Moto E 2018 most likely. Looking forward to get G series.
