The rebrand from Android Pay to Google Pay has brought a new promo for the service, with new users able to earn $10 of Google Play credit for using Google Pay.
The promo is open from now until the 14th of May and there are 50,000 x $10 Google Play Gift Vouchers to be earned by new users who sign up to and make five purchases (max one payment per day) using Google Pay within 30 days of enrolling in Google Pay for the first time.
The $10 Google Play gift voucher has to be used by the 30th of May 2019, but given the amount of great content crossing apps/games, music, books, movies and TV available on Google Play, that shouldn’t be too hard.
There’s more terms and conditions, but you can check them out in full here.
There are now over 50 financial institutions offering Google Pay support in Australia, with HSBC the latest to join the ranks. That said there’s a lot more who aren’t on board, NAB, St George, Bank SA and so on, and so on – but we’re hopeful of more joining soon. If you can use Google Pay, and haven’t yet, maybe try it out and see what you think – the worst that can happen is you get $10 of Google Play credit.
Ah bugger. New users only. I’ve been using Android Pay since it got here last year. I got about $100 or so in different vouchers from that first promotion!
Why use this when if you have Samsung pay? Is there a benefit? I use the EDGE browser.
Suncorp debit was added too
