Google Pay continues to pick up support from new Australian banks with Suncorp now allowing their customers to add, and use their Visa Debit cards with Google Pay.
At this stage customers can only use their Suncorp Visa Debit Card, but for those customers with one it’s the same procedure as all other Google Pay customers. You’ll first need a phone with an NFC chip and running Android 4.4 or above – and of course the Google Pay app. When registering you’ll receive a verification codesent to your mobile number and after that it’s simply tap and pay with your phone at any of the hundreds of thousands of NFC enabled EFTPOS terminals around Australia.
So far Google hasn’t added Suncorp to the list of supported banks as yet, but it’s only a matter of time.

Any information on when their Credit Cards will be supported?
Not at the moment, but the trend seems to be they introduce one and then more after that proves itself.
