With an expected launch imminent, the details of the Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror are starting to appear, and the latest is a slide showing the specs of both phones.
Like previous launches, the phones will be similar in design, but there will be differences under the hood. Both phones will utilise different processors, with the R15 set to use a Mediatek Helio processor, while the so-called R15 ‘Dream Mirror’ will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Both phones will apparently have 6GB RAM and 128GB of on-board storage, though localised variants may exist when they’re announced.
In terms of cameras, both phones will come with a 20MP front-facing camera and dual rear cameras but the setup of the rear cameras differ with the R15 getting a 16MP f/1.7 + 5MP f/2.2 setup, while the R15 Dream Mirror will get a 16MP f/1.7 + 20MP f/1.7 on the rear.
The phones will have slightly different battery configurations, with the R15 getting a 3,400mAh battery and the Dream Mirror version getting a 3,450mAh – though both will of course have the much vaunted VOOC Fast charging.

The R15 phones will both come with Android 8.1 but have Color OS 5.0 overlaid on top which brings with it more improvements when it comes to multi-tasking and full screen with the phone set to show 3 frequently used apps and 3 common operations on both sides when held horizontally. Split screen functions will also be coming along with better multi-tasking as well.
The R15 is set to be offered in three colours: Black, Red and White, while the R15 Dream Mirror will get two colour options: Red and Purple. Exact dates for the launch of the R15 series haven’t been announced, but the phones do look great.
