Central Coast Credit Union has this week become the 56th financial institution in Australia to offer their members the option of using Google Pay.
Founded in 1965, Central Coast Credit Union (CCCU) membership is only open to Central Coast Council employee and their immediate families. Though there’s no specifics on their Android Google Pay landing page, it appears that CCCU members can add Visa based cards to Google Pay.
It’s pretty standard setup, download the Google Pay app from the Google Play store and then add the CCCU card of your choice. As usual, you can make purchases up to $100 by simply tapping your phone on any NFC enabled terminal, but if the transaction is over $100 you will need to enter your card PIN at the terminal.
If you’re a CCCU member, download the app and try it out now.
