The latest version of Australian developer Chris Lacy’s Action Launcher has dropped bringing with it a taste of Android P.
The latest update – v35 for those playing at home – includes a lot of new features, as well as changes and fixes. The headline New features include the Android P style rounded dock which can be customised with tinting in settings.
As well as the rounded dock, folders have also been given a slightly more rounded look, as well as being given a functional update with the option to add multiple apps to a folder at once, as well as sort the contents.
Also along for the ride is the ability to create folders in the All Apps Drawer, a handy feature to allow a bit more organisation. To help you find apps in the All Apps Drawer, Chris has also added in the Pixel Launcher style search bar.
Chris has also added a few more features for standard users including the ‘All Apps shortcut gestures no longer require Plus upgrade’ and more which you can check out in the full Changelog.
Finally, Chris has made some jumps in terms of usability with a dozen usability and 20 stability bugs squashed in this release. The resolution of these issues should show in the overall performance of the app.
If you want to try out Action Launcher – and we recommend that you do – you can head over to Google Play and install it now.
