It’s a big day for Huawei in Australia with their new range of smartphones encompassing the Huawei P20 Pro, P20, Nova 3e and Nova 2 Lite all on-sale today.

The P20 Pro has already stolen Jason’s heart with its impressive camera that garnered an industry high performance rating by DXOMark, while the almost equally impressive P20 has nabbed second place from DXOMark. For the more budget conscious, the Nova series including the Nova 3e – or as we like to call it, the P20 Lite – and the Nova 2 Lite are both also on-sale from today.

The P20 Pro is available in Twilight and Black colour options for $1,099 from JB Hi-Fi, MobileCiti and Harvey Norman with a bonus pair of Huawei wireless in-ear headphones valued at $149, available while stock lasts. If there’s a choice, we highly recommend grabbing the absolutely stunning Twilight colour options which transitions through green, blue and purple colour hues as the light reflects off it.

The P20 is available exclusively from MobileCiti for $999 in a great range of colours including Graphite Black, Midnight Blue & Pink Gold.

The Nova 3 is available in Midnight Black & Klein Blue from JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Bing Lee and Mobile Citi, or in Black only from Big W, Australia Post and Target. There’s a special deal on the Huawei Nova 3e, with an Avengers: Infinity War Phone Case included while stocks last.

Finally, the Nova 2 Lite is available for $299 in Midnight Black & Klein Blue from JB Hi-Fi, MobileCiti and Harvey Norman, or in Black only from Bing Lee, Big W, Australia Post, The Good Guys and Target.

The absolute star of the Huawei range is definitely the P20 Pro in Twilight – but the rest of the Huawei range are very impressive with some extremely sharp pricing. If you’re in the market for a new smartphone you should definitely check them out in store.

Curiously it seems no JB stores have P20 Pro available in Twilight colours; only black. The black looks great, but not nearly as good as that Twilight paint scheme.

    Really

I’ve had a P20 since Monday, I have to say I’m really impressed – Battery amazing, camera in low light is extremely impressive, build and overall feel is right up there with iPhone X and S9 and the screen is really very nice – none of the issues like the Pixel2 XL.

The IOS is OK, I appreciate its not stock Android but that’s what Nova launcher is for.

Watched some YouTube videos about p20 pro review, even it has highest score for camera but still not as good as Google pixel 2.

    Essential

Depends on review you saw most reviews the P20 pro beats the pixel 2

JB Hi-fi automatically give you 2 years warranty on anything over $500.

    Really

Huawei also give you a two year warranty as well.

Jb automatically markup you twice what others do too and one of the worse in return policy actually no one can bottom them.

    Really

Opposite to my experience – JB have one of the best no argument return policies I have ever experienced – having returned macbook, LG G6 and LG V20 and got refunds on the spot……………not sure I’d want to bottom them though.

That’s good to know treat serial returners with no issues but product review majority people gave it a border line pass 2.4 out of 5 stars overall which is a very low score

Should be 2 years regardless, purchased anywhere, according to Australian consumer law?

No, that relates to contracts. If you have a 24 month contract on your phone you should expect your phone to work for 24 months hence the warranty.
If you didn’t puchase it under a contract then it is 12 months unless they offer a 24 month warranty.

looks like the Nova 3e is not available at big w and none of the above including the cheap 2 lite even exist in Target, maybe in 2 months time.
