Update (8:00 17/06): Leaker Ice Universe has shared the actual Screen to Body percentage.
The OPPO Find X launch is just a few days away and the teasers for the phone are coming thick and fast. Today the OPPO social media account has teased the Find X showing a screen with an incredibly high screen to body ratio, and best of all no notch in the display.

The OPPO Find Series has been the flag bearer for not only OPPO, but all the smart phone world on some specs mainly related to the screen. The Find 5 was the first 1080P display, and the Find 7 was the first 2K resolution display, now it could also have one of the highest screen to body ratios on the market.

In their post today, the OPPO account on Weibo has posted this on their account with the caption:

OPPO Find X curved panoramic screen, an unprecedented proportion of screen, 9_._%!
Forward this micro-blog to write down the number in your heart. At 16:00 today, one of the guessing users will be randomly selected to send the world’s first Find X!

As you can see, the phone shown in the teaser has not notch in the display. While having no notch in the screen but being almost bezelless isn’t a first – the recently announced Vivo Nex got that one with a 91.24% screen to body ratio – it would be something if OPPO could match, or even beat that – especially with their broader reach into markets including Europe, and Australia, something Vivo can’t match.

The Vivo Nex also included some nifty tech innovations including an earpiece beneath the glass display, in-display fingerprint sensor and the pop-up selfie camera, all of which helped them achieve the almost bezelless design with no notch in the screen. As a flagship phone, it would be nice to see this in the OPPO Find X.

There’s not long to go now until we see the Find X announced, and from what we hear it’s coming to Australia. Stay tuned for the launch later this week.

Update: Known leaker @IceUniverse on Twitter has shared the percentage for screen to body ratio saying it will be 93.8%, beating out the Vivo Nex at 91.24%.

hope so although i dare say the sliding mechanism for the camera would be expensive and possibly prohibitive or OnePlus

Oh great. Another Oppo phone that will never receive security or OS updates. You cannot use a 3rd party SMS app or have any functionality like notifications. Great work Oppo. Another unsupported device. A really happy r9s plus user stuck on 6.01.

I run BlueMail and FireFox on my R11S+ and set them as default and set up notification light and pull down etc. Works fine. I like the Launcher. Why mess with it. Purchased on release date….Received 2 Security Updates already.
I think you are fiddling too deep in your pockets.

unfortunately his opinion is a very common opinion of ColorOS. They are improving with their updates but their launcher is woeful and their iOS clone is terrible IMO

    Really

Waiting now for the guy to complain about the shite software on his wife’s Oppo phone and facism

What’s your point ? Just stopped by to troll for a moment ?

    Really

Read the comments any other Oppo article on this side and you will understand.

Complaining about Facism is very tiring work. Poor bloke was probably exhausted and still asleep from his last trolling effort – and doesn’t realize this article is here.
