The trend of unlimited data on mobile plans is a relatively new concept in Australia, with personal plans including unlimited data – albeit at a slower speed once your cap is reached – now available across almost all carriers. Vodafone has today announced they’re turning their attention to their Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) customers and offering unlimited data plans.
The new plans are called ‘Business Advance’ and offer a range of options for SMBs with 10 connections or more. Plans start at $30 per month over 12 or 24 months for a BYOD SIM Only plan, or at $80 with access to a Vodafone Tech Fund across 24 months. All the new Business Advance plans offer access to Vodafones super fast 4G network with access to great inclusions such as $5 per day Red Roaming to selected international destinations.
Unlimited data plans give their users access to full speed downloads until they reach their monthly data cap, at which point they will be restricted to 1.5Mbps, enough to browse the web, stream some music or access social media. Vodafone has put together a handy site to check out to see exactly what you can expect if you do hit the 1.5Mbps limit.
The Vodafone Tech Fund available with selected Business Advance plans, gives SMBs access to a credit pool that allows them the flexibility to buy devices and accessories any time during the life of their contract. The more selected Business Advance connections attached to the plan, the more the Tech Fund grows.
