At the Galaxy Note 9 launch in New York, Epic Games CEO, Tim Sweeney has announced that as rumoured Fortnite will indeed be coming to Android starting with Galaxy devices.
The Beta for Fortnite will be launching this week for Samsung Galaxy users, with users of the latest Samsung Galaxy devices, the Galaxy Note9 and Galaxy Tab S4 getting access to a limited edition ‘Galaxy’ skin for their Fortnite character.

The game will be available for owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9 and S9+, Galaxy S8 and S8+, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy Tab S3, and of course the newly announced Galaxy Tab S4. The app is available to download from the Galaxy Apps store on these phones right now – it’s available now on my Note 8.
There’s going to be a bonus for customers pre-ordering the Galaxy Note9 with an offer for either a pair of AKG noise-canceling headphones or 15,000 V-bucks (the in-game currency used in Fortnite) – but we haven’t confirmed if this bonus will be extended to Australian pre-order customers just yet.
If you have a compatible device, try it out now.
