After teasing the Q Stylus on their website last month, LG Australia has today announced it’s now officially available for $649.

The phone will be available through that Harvey Norman and online phone retailer MobileCiti (it’s currently $629) in ‘Aurora Black’ with no sign of the ‘Morrocan Blue’ colour option.

The big feature for the Q Stylus, is, as you’d expect the Stylus. LG says that the Stylus will allow you the freedom to jot down hand written notes or draw diagrams with the screen off as well as on. For more creative use cases there’s the option to ‘personalize captured images and videos to create animated GIFs’.

Bruce Leigh, LG Australia Marketing Manager for Mobile said of the Q Stylus

I love how the media are trying to convince us that $600+ devices are budget-priced.
They have stock options or something?
I’d accept if they said that the price is good considering the specs and compared to the competition, but budget???

Note 8 is just extra $100 if you Google from Australian stores.
