Oppo has shown interest in bringing their A-series models to Australia, so new information on the A7X has us interested especially with the prospect of the company using the teardrop notch on their higher end R17.
The A-series handsets are traditionally a cheaper prospect than their mid-range R-series and have hardware to match that price tag. The A7X though appears to be quite well packed with a large FullHD+ (2340×1080) resolution display with that delicate teardrop notch. The phone also has the diamond pattern on the rear seen on the recently released A5X.
Underneath those striking design affectations, Oppo has done fairly well with their hardware including a Mediatek octa-core Helio P60 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of on-board storage. These specs, combined with the 4,230mAh battery should see you through a full day of use as well.
The dual rear camera array will include 16MP and 2MP sensors, while on the front a 25MP camera sensor will make your selfies look great and with Oppo known for including AI into their cameras these days you can likely expect some magic here too.
