The Razer Phone 2 which was spoken about during Razers recent financial earnings report will be announced on October 10th according to save the date invites being sent out this morning.
The invites are displaying a ‘Flagship // Gaming’ header, staking a claim on the title that the phone will be high-end like its predecessor. The current rumours for specs for the phone include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and 8GB of RAM, at least according to an entry on Geekbench claming to be from the phone.
The phone, design wise shows little deviation from the original rather squared off design of the original Razer Phone in this render acquired by Android Headlines.
Expected to make a return, or even be bettered is their 120Hz screen which offers a faster refresh rate, an essential tool when talking about gaming – even for mobile gaming.
There’s no mention of a live-stream of the event on YouTube, so we’ll likely have to wait for a press release to see what happens on the 10th of October.
