Black Friday deals are a new thing in Australia, but it appears retailers are jumping on board with gusto. There’s some pretty great deals around and we’ve started rounding them up to make sure you get the best out of the event.

Lenovo

You want a Smart Display? Lenovo has two of them, either an 8″ or 10″ which are on-sale for $229 or $329 respectively on their online store – and you get a bonus Google Home Mini with it. The price didn’t seem to be working on the checkout, but I hit the ‘Chat Now’ button on the side of their website and the sales rep offered to complete the sale at the correct price.

If you don’t want to order from Lenovo, it looks like you can get the same price at JB HiFi or for a couple of dollars cheaper at Harvey Norman.

Doubt it’s going to come up, but if anyone finds a deal on a Nintendo Switch please hit me up!

    Adam

Check out Kotaku AU, they’ve been doing a series of deal posts for tech like Switches etc. Vooks dot net is good too for an Aussie repository of Switch-related deals.

I might have to wait for Cyber Monday but I want to find the cheapest Office Home 365 renewals so shout if you see any 🙂 But only from legitimate sources.

    Les

I haven’t seen too many Chromebook deals.

Also, deals on the Google Australia store are mild compared with what they’re doing in the United States.

    Thank you, Daniel. Very helpful.
