He’s making a list… and you can too, or at least tell the kids what their current status is on that list with Myer’s Naughty or Nice Christmas bauble.
The bauble hangs in your tree – or really wherever you want it to – and lights up either Red (Naughty) or Green (Nice) depending on what you think your kids should be, with you controlling the status of the bauble using the Myer Christmas Bauble app on your phone. Myer obviously wants you to buy a few of these, or at least one per child in your family, so you can setup and even order multiple baubles from Myer in the app.
The bauble works on Bluetooth, and requires 3x AAA batteries which aren’t included for the $19.95 price tag at Myer. Setup does require entering the state you live in and the app description lists being able to ‘Discover Australia’s Naughty or Nice status’ but this may not be live as yet.
The bauble is available now in-store or online through the myer.com.au/naughtyornice for $19.95.
The baubles were developed so that they can be used for future Christmas’. Great fun being a small part of the team involved in this project.

Working a treat!
Super happy mr6 is even more excited about Santa coming
Waste of money. Bought one and it will not connect to my Samsung S8+. Rubbish product.
This has be one of the worst promos I have ever seen. Mum lying down on the couch while a child tries to vacuum. Putting it out there for all to see that your child is on a naughty list for failing to do domestic chores why not just post their picture on a telegraph poles it would be cheaper.
I can see it as a good visual aid for kids generally but 3 questions
1) how long do those batteries last with it on
2) how is the visibility in daylight
3) when Myer goes under will the app still work
Also could have had a yellow light as well and it would be even more usedul.
1. no idea, but it’s still going.
2. Pretty decent.
3. Highly likely as it seems to be Bluetooth only to control it, not server based.
Yes, I bought one.
1) Still going doesnt help much, if i dont know how long its been on (8 hours, 80 hours 800 hours ?
2) Good to know
3) You mentioned “Setup does require entering the state you live in and the app description lists being able to ‘Discover Australia’s Naughty or Nice status’ but this may not be live as yet.” so its more when (or i suppose if) myer ceases to be, will the setup and other features of the app make it impossible to actually control them.
1. It only launched this week so no chance it’s been on 800 hours. I bought it and put batteries in just before this post went live.
3. The only function currently is changing the light colour via Bluetooth. If you’d prefer to err on the side of caution on this concern, perhaps it’s not for you.
If myer thinks this tat will save them they’re already sunk
Waste of money for me buying those Myer baubles. Mine would be red all year round. So it’s far more cost effective for me to simply buy red foil ones at the el-cheapo shop.
