If you’ve been accruing Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) Points, but never had enough to redeem for something decent then Kogan may be the answer, with the company today announcing you can redeem your Frequent Flyer Points for goods on Kogan.
Kogan has been offering customers the option to earn QFF points for some time, but this move will now allow them to redeem those points for any of the thousands of items in Kogan’s catalogue.
QFF points are redeemed in increments of $20, with 4,000 QFF points equal to $20. The terms and conditions of the Kogan/QFF payment deal says that you will even earn more QFF points on a purchase you make with QFF points. If you decide to cancel an order, then Kogan credits will be issued.
You will of course have to enter your QFF details into your Kogan account, a fairly easy process on the Kogan website.
Ruslan Kogan, Founder & CEO of Kogan.com, said :
We have been in partnership with Qantas Frequent Flyer for several years now and we are proud to partner with such an iconic Australian brand.
With over 12 million Frequent Flyer members, the Qantas Frequent Flyer program is one of the most popular rewards programs in Australia. We are excited to offer members the ability to use their points to access some great deals on Kogan.com, and we’re happy this will be available to make shopping more affordable and help with family budgets in the lead up to Christmas.
Given how long it’s taken, including flights, purchases and more to earn my QFF points, swapping 4,000 for a $20 discount seems a little over-priced to me, but for someone else it may make perfect sense. If you’re in that category then head over to Kogan.com and see if you can find something to redeem those points on.
Too bad Qantas wiped all my points without warning me…
