Nokia’s line of Android One devices has taken the market by storm, offering an impressive array of devices from the ultra-basic Android GO devices all the way up to premium devices running stock Android One. The newest device expected in the line up is the Nokia 9 PureView, we’ve seen a few leaks over the past weeks and today an apparently official render of the device has surfaced online.

Upfront we see the lack of a notch, which personally I prefer, there’s also the in display fingerprint sensor icon and modest bezels on the top and bottom. I’ve long been on the record for preferring to have a bit of bezel, it helps with holding the device and I find a bit of a chin improves my typing accuracy, and I’m anti-notch. Around the back you find the 5 cameras set up, dual LED flash and the autofocus all creating a strange spider eye looking array.

From previous rumours, we’re expecting Nokia to feature a 5.99-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM, 128 GB on-board storage, USB C and lastly forgo the 3.5 mm port (booo). We’re expecting HMD global to take the wraps off their latest devices at MWC in Barcelona this year, and we’ll have a team live on the ground bringing you all the details as they come to light.

Should the headline read “an in display…”?

I’m starting to get into very amateur photography, and I’d love to see what this phone can do!

Absolutely, the things Google does with a single lens camera are incredible.

It’s nice enough, though the camera panel just looks silly. Would be nice to know what the topmost one is used for, as it could easily get obscured by fingers when taking a photo.
