It seems that all carriers are adding more and more data to their plans, so much so that many of us now have more than they’d ever need. ALDImobile are now updating their plans to give their customers an impressive volume of data.
From today ALDImobile are adding extra data to their value packs with an increase of up to 55% in data on their plans. At the same time there are no extra cost to the customer. As you can see in the plans below all of the plans have a decent upgrade in data with their jumbo plan getting a massive 8GB of data per month.

All of their plans do come with unlimited calls and texts and the big kicker is that the data rolls over every 30 days. Now that is impressive. As for their network, ALDImobile “uses part of Telstra’s 4G and 3G mobile network. The mobile product of ALDImobile provides a 4G coverage footprint of 97% and a combined 4G and 3G coverage footprint of 98.8% of the Australian population.”
If you are an ALDImobile customer keep an eye out for this extra chunk of data and if you are looking for a new plan why not check out the ALDImobile website for more details.
If I’m on a $99/365 day plan with 12 GB, can I upgrade to have more data and at what coat?
I wonder if you downgrade the plan you get to keep the data rolled over. I have about 80GB now and don’t think I’ll be getting through it for a while.
No you can’t downgrade and keep rollover according to CIS
There is M plan also available 5Gb for $20 + remaining data rollover, which Aldi Mobile doesn’t advertise 😉
At least on the “S” plan you’d be way better off at Jeenee, same price twice the data
Except a lot of people who go Aldi Mobile do so because it is on Telstra wholesale network rather than Optus wholesale. Also you are comparing a 12 month contract vs monthly prepaid.
