We wrote about this week’s ALDI specials earlier in the week (funnily enough), but these are good deals worth reminding you about. This week, you can grab one of two new TV models from ALDI – a Bauhn 50-inch 4K TV with included Google Chromecast, or a 40-inch model that comes with a built-in soundbar.
Both TVs are on sale this week at ALDI, and your local store probably still has a fair bit of stock. Our local in Mt Kuring-gai had half a dozen of the 50-inch model on the floor when we went earlier today, and five of the 40-inch models shown below.
Tthe 50-inch 4K ultra HD TV with a bonus Chromecast dongle included and is available to purchase for $429.
This TV comes features a 50-inch display which is offering 3840 x 2160, 4K Ultra High Definition display viewing. Connectivity wise, there’s 2 x HDMI , 1 x PC audio in, 1 x VGA, 1 x Optical, 2 x USB and 1 x Earphone Out ports. You can also record live TV, and play back media files from local USB storage.
The smaller 40-inch TV is a little less exciting, but features a built-in soundbar for more immersive sound and sells for just $299. With a Full HD 1080p panel, HD digital tuner, HDMI with ARC and Live TV recording, this is a bargain.
Grab them at your local ALDI but be quick – ALDI’s special buys always sell out pretty quick.
I might be wrong but I think only the movie channels broadcast ultra high definition and only if the source material is recorded in that medium otherwise we just receive high definition?
I can’t see the free to air tv changing to the higher standard anytime soon. Not till I go under the grass anyway.
My main concern with this deal is that the chromecast doesn’t allow 4k streaming. If it had been a chromecast ultra I’d snap it up.
