Flagships are very expensive these days but fortunately most manufacturers roll their flagship features down to the mid-range after a certain amount of time so everyone can enjoy the premium features, eventually. Samsung are continuing to do this with their A-series phones and today have announced the Galaxy A30s and A50s.
The phones seem to be aimed at the younger segment of the market and are designed to “capture and share experiences instantaneously”. Featuring SuperAMOLED Infinity-U and Infinity-V displays the phones offer great media visualisation and a decent camera to capture media in high quality. Both phones offer in-display fingerprint readers which is a feature slowly making its way into the mid-range.
Both phones have funky-looking holographic effects on the rear of them and are available in four colours, Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green and Prism Crush Violet. Both phones come with 4,000mAh batteries that support fast charging — but don’t expect a fast charger in the box if the Galaxy Note 10 is anything to go by.
Galaxy A50s
The Galaxy A50s features a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main camera lens, an 8MP ultrawide (123 degrees) lens and a 5MP depth-sensing lens. The 6.4 inch FHD+ display will pop with the SuperAMOLED Infinity-U display offering an immersive, near-bezeless experience.
Galaxy S30s
The Galaxy A30s also features a triple rear camera setup with a 25MP main camera lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP depth-sensing lens. It is also optimised to capture great pictures not just with the hardware but also the included software processing capabilities such as Intelligent Flaw Detector and Scene Optimiser.

At this stage we do not have any details of an Australian release date or pricing but you can be sure that these two devices will be tough competitors in the mid-range market. If you are looking in this price range, why not check them out?

A50 and A30, or A50S and A30S? They’re different ..
Samsung A50 6/128gb model is available for other regions but not for Australia. Why would it be a new model?
