OnePlus has officially launched its latest high-end device the OnePlus 7T Pro overnight and as expected it’s a powerhouse. The 7T Pro is very reminiscent of its predecessor the 7 Pro, but packs a few improvements under the hood.
OnePlus has opted for a single SKU this year including a Snapdragon 855+ SOC, 8GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal storage, 4,085mAh battery with ‘warp charge 30r’ fast charging, a 90MHZ refresh rate 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display, triple rear cameras with a 48MP and 16MP wide-angle lens an 8MP telephoto lens and a 16MP pop-up ‘selfie’ camera.
It’s running Oxygen OS 10.0 based on Android 10, so you’re getting the latest of Android at launch, something most of the major OEMs just don’t seem capable of or willing to do.
What’s is missing?
There’s no wireless charging, something that is finally becoming more common in Android, or of course the universal 3.5mm headphone jack.
Overall, the OnePlus 7T Pro is a minor refresh to the original 7 Pro bringing a ling very similar designs, the same cameras and a bump in internal specs.
Available only in HazeBlue it will go on sale in Europe on October 17 for £699 which is around $1290 AUD before any importing costs, because just like all other OnePlus devices, we’re not expecting the 7T Pro to hit our shores unless you import one yourself.
