Some alleged photos of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S11 have appeared online, but the quality is so questionable that really, this could be any phone you want it to be.
Given the source of these images – Twitter leaker @IceUniverse – 9to5Google believes it’s at least plausible that these photos are the real deal, but given the phone is encased in a “leak proof case”, and the photos appear to have been taken with the original Apple Quicktime camera, the world’s most grainy digital camera.
Pretty much the only thing we can discern here is the new camera module layout, which is quite distinctive.
Exactly what will be in the Galaxy S11 camera module is yet to be confirmed, but rumours indicate it could be a 108-megapixel main sensor, with 5X zoom and video recording up to 8K, powered by Qualcomm’s super-powerful Snapdragon 965 processor.
A 5,000 mAh battery is also rumoured, which will be welcome, as Samsung’s smartphones aren’t exactly known for their frugal power consumption.
Hopefully we’ll see some better quality leaks in coming weeks ahead of an expected launch in early February 2020.
